From Hayle to the Med and Back Again

Tucked beside the calm waters of the Hayle Estuary, The Terrace is more than just a place to eat, it’s a reflection of the people behind it, the town that shaped it, and the flavours that inspired it.

Run by Stuart and Hannah, The Terrace has grown into one of Cornwall’s most loved dining spots. After living and cooking in Italy and Portugal, the couple returned home to Hayle to open The Italian Kitchen. Eight years ago, they launched The Terrace, a new venture blending the bold, simple flavours of the Mediterranean with fresh Cornish ingredients.
